This project was built in three phases:
1.  Matchmove tracking of the subject using SynthEyes 2008.
2.  Importing of object tracking data into Maya in order to control a character rig.
3.  Final texture application utilizing The Foundry's NukeX 7.0v9

The advantages of this process include rapid retexturing of the character rig and scene backgrounds utilizing the node based system of NukeX.  As you can see in this example, I began with a Tron Legacy theme for the character rig and background and then rapidly switched to a Tomorrowland texture for the rig and background.  This process can be done solely in Maya, but the amount of time consumed to retexture the objects in Maya alone can be done more efficiently and more quickly in NukeX.  Hope you like the results.  And be sure to check out Disney's Tomorrowland coming to theaters on May 22nd!  I can't wait!!
